Vivonne Bay is a popular tourist destination and is situated on Kangaroo Island and is perfectly located to the islands top tourist attractions. Vivonne Bay was first discovered in 1803 by French explorer Nicolas Baudin who named the bay.

A major attraction for holidaymakers is the beachside lifestyle with pristine white sandy beaches. Vivonne Bay features a sheltered bay nestled between Seal Bay and Vivonne Bay Conservation Park.

In 2003 Vivonne Bay was voted as Australia’s best beach out of thousands of beaches around Australia. Swimming is popular and most times throughout the year you can be the only person enjoying 20 kilometres of beach without the holiday crowds found elsewhere.
